Augmented reality and virtual reality
Companies can take advantage of the advantages of augmented reality and virtual reality to differentiate themselves from competitors.
The internet of things refers to the ability of objects (and not just smartphones, tablets and PCs) to connect to the internet. The idea behind the IoT is to convert everyday objects into “smart objects”.
It is a set of single blocks linked together by cryptography that create a distributed and extremely secure database with applications that in many sectors can change the way to work.
Big data refers to large amounts of data, numbers and statistics to be stored, managed and analyzed. The sectors most affected are: banking, insurance, social media, PA and healthcare.
Thanks to the credibility acquired over the years by PMF Research, its research and development (R&D) activities have attracted grants from the National Operational Programme (NOP) on Enterprises and Competitiveness, from the NOP MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research) on Research and Competitiveness 2007-2013, from the Erasmus+ Programme, from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), from the Life Learning Programme and from the Sicily POR (Regional Operational Programme).
